Scoring
The ability to score points is what makes ChessRugby unique, the player with the highest score when the game is ended (checkmate) is the winner.
Scoring is done as follows...
Players are awarded points for moving a piece over the tryline and onto a space on the oppositions side of the board. Your team is awarded the number of points allocated to that space by the number in the top left. Each time a player is placed on one of these spaces the points are awarded.

Ending the game
Once ahead on points your goal is to try and checkmate your opponents ball before he can get more points then you. As soon as either players 'Ball' is checkmate, the game is over and the player with the highest amount of points claims Chessrugby glory!
